About Robb Sullivan Photography

"I have enjoyed the art of photography for most of my life and in 2004 I started my own business as a freelance photographer in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. While initially focusing on weddings and senior portraits, I have also expanded into the fields of sporting events, commercial building photography, publications and other various commercial venues. I love to be around people and capture them in the moment. It is a passion of mine to make each experience unique and tailored to you and your special event.

My photography style is a mix of traditional and photojournalistic. I like to mix the posed "must get" shots along with the "candid" unposed shots that will tell the story of your wedding day or event. I feel that meeting with the couple before helps get to know each couples personality and how they react to the camera and learn of any concerns. In all cases, I like to talk to my clients while shooting to keep your mind off the pose and your smile big and natural. I'm pretty relaxed, and I find that it can be pretty contagious.
